Bonsai BYOT Workshop with Mark Arpag
Learn from Mark Arpag in this hands-on Bring Your Own Tree (BYOT) workshop, where you’ll receive personalized guidance and styling advice for your own bonsai.
Silent observers are welcome to attend; however, they are asked to remain silent throughout the workshop. Due to the limited time available, questions and guidance will be reserved for participants working on their own trees. Silent observers are encouraged to complete the registration form on this page as a complimentary observer so we can accurately plan for attendance.
This workshop replaces our monthly meeting for August.

Participants should bring their own trees, pots, tools, wire, trees, and soil. A selection of club pots will be available for purchase at Doug’s during the workshop and some soil is still available for purchase.

Mark Arpag is an award-winning bonsai artist and educator with a passion for native bonsai, shohin, and suiseki. As President of the Bonsai Society of Upstate New York, he regularly presents workshops and demonstrations, sharing decades of experience and practical techniques with bonsai enthusiasts of all skill levels.
