Annual Bonsai Workshop, Picnic & Auction with David Bressem
Our annual summer event returns, hosted by David Bressem in his West Hatfield bonsai garden. The day kicks off with a hands-on BYOT (“Bring Your Own Tree”) workshop, followed by lunch, and wraps up with our always lively bonsai auction.
Feel free to bring a chair, relax in the garden, and enjoy the day.
- 9–11:00am – BYOT Workshop
- 12 – 1:00pm – Lunch
- 1 – 4:00pm – Auction
BYOT Workshop
Participants should bring their own trees, pots, tools, wire, trees, and soil.
If you need soil, please contact us for discounted club soil.
Potluck Lunch
Hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, and water will be provided by the club.
Guests are invited to bring a side dish, snack, or dessert to share.

Auction
The summer and Holiday auctions are two of our primary fund raising activities. Kindly bring auction items to help support the club and make the auction even more fun for everyone. Bonsai material, pots, tools, stands, supplies, and other practical items are appreciated.
Pool
Guests, family members, and children are welcome to attend and enjoy the in-ground pool. Children must be supervised at all times in and around the pool area.
